Life Surreal

“No matter what you’ve done for yourself or for humanity, if you can’t look back on having given love and attention to your own family, what have you really accomplished?”
— Elbert Hubbard

More Words of Wisdom!

As you get closer to the end of this chapter of your life, you will most likely take trips down memory lane more often than you’d like. When you do, never question the decisions that got you here in the present. Don’t obsess over the type of person you want to be- there’s no use. Over time, you will change naturally, based on those who surround you, inspire you, and even betray you. Just rest knowing that whoever you were, are, and will be is and always will be loved. It’ll save you a lot of time to enjoy and experience life.

A Letter To Someone Special

Not exactly sure what else to say that I haven’t said before. A friend once told me to never settle- whether it’s about your career, academics, relationships, etc. Now here are some original words from me:

The world can only provide so much, but never what we truly deserve. So create, innovate, and nurture. That’s where the best things in life come from. That’s where your best shines through.

Laugh often, love recklessly, and live with just a teaspoon of craziness.

There are some in this world who have strength of their own,
Never broken or need of repair.
But there are some born to shine who can’t do it alone
So protect them and take special care.

The best part of flying back to Boston was getting to see these amazing kids graduate. I’ve known them collectively for three years, watching them grow up right before my eyes. I’d like to think I’d had some kind of impact on their lives, but the reality is that they are wonderful, independent young adults ready to take on the real world completely on their own.

4 years. The rest can be the same.

Getting closer to graduation. Not quite happy about it, but at least I’ll be representing my @BUFSA and @BUakpsi fam. (Taken with instagram)
